Khartoum – Tana4Media – The United States of America have said that Sudan is going through developments and transitioning period, and urged the Sudanese Government to respect the citizens right to peacefully express themselves, asking the other party “the Sudanese people” to commit to that peaceful nature of their expression. All while Sudan ensured their commitment to the dialogue with the States in all issues of common interest.
Assistant of the US president and senior advisor to Africa at the National Security Council Cyril Sartre discussed with the Sudanese President Assistant Faisal Hassan Ibrahim the progress of the second phase of the American/ Sudanese dialogue, Sartre said in a statement to the press” I had a productive meeting with the Assistant of the president, I came to continue dialogue between the two parties and to put it on track, to lead it to the removal of Sudan from the list of States sponsoring terrorism soon”.
The American official said that Sudan is going through developments and transitioning period, and stressed the importance of the government to respect the people’s right to peacefully express themselves and asked the people to commit to that peaceful nature. He pointed out that with more patient the government will find apolitical solution, and that no solutions will be enforced on Sudan from the outside. Sartre said through joint efforts the two countries “Sudan and USA” will find their way to a strong partnership.
