Khartoum 16/04/2018 – The Khartoum press on Monday focused on a number of internal issues, with the majority highlighting the topic of appointing judges for the corruption cases, and also focusing on the Arab Summit which was concluded yesterday in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

AlSudani –  The course of the Arab summit ( The Jerusalem summit) received special coverage, with the headline (A closed meeting between President Al-Bashir and the Saudi Crown Prince), with the sidelines, Ali Hashim Arab in the Summit at Dhahran yesterday, next to Al-Bashir’s speech at the summit in which he criticized the Houthi attacks towards Saudi Arabia, as Al-Bashir rejected during his speech the attacks led by America, France and Britain, on Syria.

AlSayha – The Sudanese Cotton Company corruption case was revealed, AlSayha obtained additional information about the details of the largest corruption case inflicting the Sudanese Cotton Company. Revealing that the company had failed to repay the bank loans of the ABC Bank of 120 million Euros for the cultivation of cotton from 2011 – 2012, as the company recorded a financial loss of 184 million Sudanese Pounds.

Aljareeda – The Independent Expert for Human Rights, Astride Nononsi with government officials, questioning the Legislation and Justice Committee in the parliament about the emergency situation in a number of states, and requested that he be provided with the laws and amendments approved under the National Dialogue. 

Alintibaha – The decision made by the  Chief of  Justice to appoint judges in the fight against corruption and violations of public money, reporting that the judges who have been appointed are (Yasser Bakhit patients, deaf Taher, Fahmi Abdullah),

Altayar – “Silva Kiir dispatched Nial Deng to Al-Bashir” read the main headline, were a diplomatic source reported that the envoy of the President of South Sudan Silva Kiir will arrive in Khartoum within the current week, carrying a message to President of Sudan Omar Al-Bashir on the latest developments in Juba and discussing the outstanding issues between the two countries, with the delegation headed by Silva Kiir’s adviser Nial Deng.
